ProTracker Software received notification that its trademark, ProTracker Advantage, was formally registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office as Registration Number 3,038,202.

ProTracker Software released Compliance Manual, Version 4.2, which now includes a Compliance Risk Assessment section and an Internal Controls section. These two new sections were responsive to several recent compliance examinations where regulators asked for a firm's risk assessment, and some documentation on how the firm is ensuring adequate internal controls.

ProTracker Software announced interfaces with Albridge, Worldox, Quik! and LaserApp.

The release of the interface with Albridge Solutions (formerly Statement One) permits users to import portfolio values and money balances into ProTracker Advantage. In turn, these imports facilitate the creation of client net worth statements with current portfolio values, and the closer management of client cash balances.

The interface with Worldox document management software is facilitated by the Virtuoso product from Trumpet, Inc. Virtuoso provides seamless integration of the ProTracker Advantage contact and client screens with associated documents archived in Worldox.

Quik! automatically reads data from ProTracker Advantage to fill in various forms. For more details, see Efficient Technology Inc, (ETI Forms).

LaserApp combines state of the art form filling technology with a current library of industry related forms. These forms are programmed with business logic and maintained by Laser App to facilitate completing paperwork. For more details, see LaserApp.

Recorded tutorials became available for download through the ProTracker Training page on this web site. The recorded tutorials provide on-demand training for new staff and refresher training for customers performing infrequent tasks. The recorded tutorials may be downloaded and saved on your computer. An audio track plays during the video streaming. The recorded tutorial may be paused and repeated on-demand.

ProTracker Software released Version 4.1 of its flagship product, ProTracker Advantage. The inline update to Version 4.0 incorporated many of the enhancements requested by customers during the last four months.

Mackensen & Company migrated ProTracker Advantage to a Microsoft SQL-based platform and began beta testing a pre-release version of ProTracker Advantage 5.0. The easy-to-use graphical user interface is identical to the current production version of ProTracker Advantage 4.1. The data migration to SQL took only 13 minutes (170 Megs of data).

Warren Mackensen delivered an advanced session on regulatory compliance issues at the NAPFA Cutting Edge Conference: Advanced Practice Management and Investment Strategies, held in Indianapolis, Indiana. Warren's session focused on Internal Controls, Compliance Risk Assessment, Creating a Risk Assessment Matrix, Policies & Procedures, and the Annual Compliance Review requirements.

ProTracker Software completed ProTracker Advantage, Version 5.0, beta testing. Version 5.0 uses the robust Microsoft SQL Server database engine. The beauty of this ProTracker Advantage release is that the easy-to-use graphical user interface is identical to the Access-based version. No additional training is required to migrate to the SQL Server version.
